Our Philosophy
As our name reflects, "fitness" is a key part of our process. Fitness refers to both the appropriateness or "fit" of the specific Program as well as the lifelong discipline it takes to be financially fit as well as physically fit. Investing or planning for the future takes time, dedication, and commitment on the part of the advisor as well as on the part of the client, toward achieving long term success. Not only are we responsible to see that the recommendations we make are an appropriate fit for our clients, but our clients need to have the discipline to adhere to the financial plan. Throughout the process we look to build and sustain trust with our clients. We accomplish this by listening to our clients' needs and goals, act in their interest and we also believe in transparency of fees/costs.

Trust
Trust is key in any relationship and that is certainly true in the relationship we want with our clients! If you are a client already, hopefully we've earned the trust you show in us! If you are a potential client, a first step in developing trust is to check us out. As "registered representatives" in the securities industry we are listed in FINRA's (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) BrokerCheck. BrokerCheck is a free tool which is part of FINRA's ongoing efforts to help investors make informed choices about brokers and brokerage firms. We invite you to look us up through FINRA's BrokerCheck for securities and we also invite you to contact your State's Department of Insurance for insurance products (most insurance is not a security and therefore not registered). The States where at least one of us is licensed are listed at the bottom of each website page.
Fees and Expenses
Fees and expenses don't mean anything without trust! All programs and services are not created equal. So, likewise, all fees are not equal. Still, part of building trust is understanding what the services are that you are receiving and what they are costing you. As mentioned above, we believe in transparency. Some costs are clear and shown (often referred to as fees) and some costs are embedded (often referred to as expenses). Expenses are usually disclosed, but they are not as easy to find and most clients don't know what to ask. While we believe that we should receive fair consideration for the work we do on our clients' behalf, you should be given the opportunity to understand all the costs involved.
